Papa leopard over here was leopard number two spotted on our second day out in Kruger. Check back through the last two weeks for more pics and the craziness of two leopard encounters within eight minutes of each other. Wish I could stay and chat for longer but I'm driving!

Last week I told you the story of an amazing encounter with a herd of elephant just as we were leaving the park. Towards the end of that encounter a group of three elephants made a frantic dash across the road as if they had been spooked by something. Perhaps they had. By that point there were a number of vehicles that had stumbled upon this event and some of them found themselves in rather precarious positions amongst the breeding herd.

Last week I shared a shot of the just one of the leopards that we managed to spot while game viewing in the Kruger National Park. This week I promised to share the best of the best, because although the shot that I shared last week was a great shot from a great spot...the best was yet to come.
