Engagement sessions continue to give us so much joy! No matter how many times we sit down across from a new couple and begin to chat about their wedding day, find out how they met, and just hear a bit of their story, it just never gets old! It was so great to sit across a picnic table from Lauren and Eric and get to chat with these two sweethearts and feel like they are old friends we’re just catching up with! It helps that Lauren was a bridesmaid in a wedding we photographed last year… but these two are so easy to chat with, such a peaceful and sweet-hearted couple of love birds who are excited to become husband and wife.
Our beloved little Washington is the backdrop of a big part of the history of both Lauren and Eric, so it was extra special to scoot around town and grab some imagery together. Lauren was a trooper in weather that was much chillier than I think any of us expected, and we’re glad she hung in there because some of our favorite shots are from the last few minutes of our session down by the Pamlico River…
