More than anything else, we get really excited about capturing the emotion involved in wedding days, because we feel like to truly tell the story, you have to tell the laughs, the cries, and every wonderful sentiment in between. I (Caroline) am expecting a baby soon and wasn’t able to be present at Ben & Mallory’s wedding day, so looking at the imagery from the day took on a whole new meaning for me. As I pulled out favorites for the slideshow and enjoyed getting to see how things happened, I was moved to tears at the precious emotions Ben displayed when he saw Mallory on her Dad’s arm, coming down the aisle. I gasped at how light and peaceful the imagery of Ben and Mallory (literally) tying the knot looks — it is such a holy moment! And I laughed aloud as Ben jokingly pulled something other than the garter out from underneath Mallory’s wedding dress at the garter toss.
Ben and Mallory are two precious souls that absolutely seem to have been created for each other, and we are so so thankful we had the privilege of getting to know them, and being witnesses as they became husband and wife. They had such a beautiful, elegant day, and the joy between them on their wedding day was absolutely contagious!
Mr. & Mrs. Stancill, we are SO SO happy for you! Congratulations again and again, and thank you so much for giving us the privilege of photographing this wonderful wedding day!
