Erin has been a friend of ours for a long time, so we were over-the-moon excited for her as she looked forward to her wedding day. The setting was incredibly unique and very, very meaningful: the classic beach cottage that had been in their family for decades, which stood over the sound in Nags Head for nearly a century, was destroyed by Hurricane Irene in 2011. With new building regulations and the significant planning permissions necessary, it would take nothing short of a miracle for the Stinson family to be granted permission, and be able to rebuild.
Miracles do happen! And less than four years later, Erin married the man of her dreams with the re-built family cottage, standing over the sound in Nags Head just as it did before, as a glorious backdrop for the big day.
A brief shower kept everyone indoors for a little bit of the afternoon, but the rain stopped in plenty of time for Erin and Keith to tie the knot in a beautiful ceremony with sound and cottage as a backdrop, while plenty of cloud cover and a nice breeze kept the guests cool.
Keith & Erin’s day was wonderfully meaningful, and so full of beauty. We’re excited to share the imagery from their wonderful day below — you can view it in a little slideshow we created for the bride and groom, or in stills just underneath!
