On our first day out in Kruger National Park it was overcast and looked like we might be treated to a thunderstorm in the late afternoon. Driving along a dirt road the bush cleared and we came across this zebra standing on its own a little isolated from its herd. As we pulled up perpendicular to the stripy beast the heavens and earth aligned! Well, just the dark cloud background adding to striking contrast of an almost totally black and white animal. I processed this image in colour because you get a better feel for the conditions and the striking colour of the storm clouds. The other shot I took I processed in black and white and love it. However, I think that this one has greater appeal than the black & white so it features this week. Hope you like it!
