Sorry that this has to be a really quick post but we are about to depart back to Bloemfontein from Sedgefield tomorrow (a 9 hours day in the car with two little boys). This shot was the start of an amazing elephant encounter on the last afternoon spent in the Kruger. This guy was part of a herd of males that we stumbled across. They were huge and there is a crazy story that goes with the encounter but for that you’ll have to head over to Caroline’s blog 🙂
